I am finishing up my doctorate (DMin) at Westminster Theological Seminary where I focused on the problem of evil and suffering. I argued for the necessity of recentering our apologetics to be more aligned with Christ’s sufferings and resurrection which are the reasons for our hope (1 Pet 3:15). I will graduate the end of May 2025.
I am an adjunct professor at Cairn University in the School of Divinity. I teach a class on Biblical Theology called The Narrative of Redemption.
I have been in pastoral ministry for the past 15 years. Most recently, I served as the pastor of Renewal Community Church. This past summer (2024) we merged with another church which has led to my unemployment.
Previously, I was the lead pastor of a multi-ethnic church plant in Philadelphia, Redemption Church. Redemption was a loving church family in a very hard place. In those years, my primary focus was serving Christ’s body in the multi-ethnic urban context. By God’s mercy, I have witnessed the power of the Gospel take different people with various backgrounds, ethnicities, socio-economic statuses, and bring them all together united in Christ.
I have a heart for the church. I love preaching, teaching, and writing. I long to see God made famous and for Christ’s church to live and function as the beautiful bride she is.
