Bethlehem College and Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the college to begin August 1, 2026. As a classical Christian college, Bethlehem educates men and women to study the Great Books in light of the Greatest Book for the sake of the Great Commission. The college programs offer a robust, integrated core curriculum with both BA and MA degrees in humanities, missiology, and biblical studies. Therefore, we seek candidates with an interdisciplinary habit of mind, an ability to teach across disciplines, and an eagerness to cultivate excellent habits of mind and heart in their students. To this end, we welcome candidates with expertise in the humanities (literature, philosophy, history) and/or theology. The expected teaching load would be 20–22 credits at the college level. Faculty rank and salary are determined by credentials and experience.
Requirements
The candidate will…
• have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in literature, history, philosophy, theology, or a closely related field. Applicants in the final stages of their Ph.D. programs will also be considered.
• demonstrate a growing, sincere Christian faith, personal integrity, and commitment to the doctrine and vision of Bethlehem College and Seminary.

Responsibilities
The professor will…
• teach 20–22 credits per year
• advise B.A. and M.A. students at Bethlehem College, including masters’ student theses.
• participate in the community life of the school, including weekly chapel, annual conferences, and regular events.
• engage in ongoing scholarly research and writing activities.
This position has a salary range of $63,000–$70,000 and is eligible for benefits including health care, life and disability insurance, 403(b) with an employer match of up to 4.5%, and holiday, sick, and vacation paid time off.
