The Department of Religious Studies at Westmont College invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in Old Testament, effective fall 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Hebrew language and Introduction to the Old Testament. Teaching interest in the Writings and experience in field archaeology and/or historical geography are valued. A commitment to excellence in teaching a diverse student body and supporting student learning are required for this position. Applicants with a completed (or very soon to be completed) Ph.D. in Old Testament will be considered.

Pay Range: $70,540 to $78,847
