Boston Transportation and Attractions

Boston has a lot to offer as we gather this November for the 77th Annual Meeting. Here is some information on the public transportation system and local attractions that will assist in your conference planning.

  • Getting Around
    • Here is a link to our MBTA map. It can look daunting first looking at it but it’s very easy getting around it once you get the hang of it:
      • One way fare is $2.40 and children 11 and under ride free
      • If you are using the silver line coming from the airport, there is no fare.
      • Since the meeting at Boston Marriott Copley, the following stops are recommended to access the hotel (listed closest to farthest):
        • Prudential Center- Green line
        • Copley- Green line
        • Back Bay- Orange
        • Hynes Convention Center- Green line
  • You can also take the commuter rail to Back Bay Station which is highlighted in purple on the map
