My vocational aim is to teach students scripture and theology. My specialization is in ancient Mediterranean cosmology (in both Greco-Roman philosophy and Jewish and Christian views) and everything related to the letter to the Hebrews, though my interests range widely throughout the New Testament, Hebrew Bible, theology, philosophy, and the arts (particularly film). I’ve published in New Testament and biblical theology, as well as poetry. I’ve taught public speaking in the past, and currently teach Greek at the University of Cambridge. I would love the opportunity to teach introductory courses to the Old Testament, New Testament, western philosophy, and Christian theology, and advanced courses in Greek, hermeneutics, Hebrews, and other New Testament books. I also would be interested in advising theses and dissertations. I would also be excited to support student’s experience through chapel and other venues.
