Literary Analysis
I am a PhD candidate in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto, specializing in the Hebrew Bible with a focus on integrating modern linguistic methodologies to aid in the task of exegesis and biblical interpretation. With over a decade of teaching and mentoring experience in both academic and church contexts, I am passionate about equipping students to engage deeply with Scripture, think critically, and apply biblical truths in their ministries and lives. I strive to advance our ability to interpret scripture through keeping up to date with the advances in linguistics and bringing the benefits of those advances to the task of exegesis in terms and frameworks that my students can comprehend without having to become linguists themselves.
