Program Coordinator and Professor of Biblical Studies

Horizon College & Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty member who will serve as the Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABT) Coordinator and as a professor of biblical studies. This is an on-campus appointment in Saskatoon, with a flexible start date between January 2025 and June 2025. The successful candidate will be appointed as a faculty member of both Horizon in Saskatoon, SK and Master’s College & Seminary (MCS) in Mississauga, ON, since the two institutions partner to share curriculum, resources, faculty, and staff cross-provincially.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
– a PhD in biblical studies.
– strong commitment to the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s statement of faith.
– experience teaching in a Christian college and seminary, including with online teaching.
– ministry experience in a local church.
– demonstrated spiritual maturity.
– disposition or training to work pastorally and in mentored relationships.
– engaged in scholarly research and writing.
– excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– high administrative and organizational skills.
– basic computer literacy to work with and learn various computing platforms.
