Dear Members,
It has recently come to our attention that some members have not received ETS emails.* After looking into the matter, it is likely due to the member unsubscribing from an email that came from ETS, which prevents all future emails to that email address. In some cases the member was unaware of having unsubscribed from ETS emails.

Longtime ETS member Myron Houghton died on July 14, 2020, in Ankeny, Iowa, due to complications from COVID-19. He was 78. He joined ETS in 1962 and remained active in the group until his death, one of our longest-tenured members.
Houghton earned a PhD from Dallas Seminary (1971) and a ThD from Concordia Seminary of St. Louis (1986). A Baptist who specialized in theological method and comparative theology, he also held degrees from Methodist, Catholic, Brethren, and Orthodox seminaries. His twin brother, George, also earned a doctorate at Dallas; both taught at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. An online tribute is posted at the Baptist Bulletin website.
