In this paper, first, I want to take a panoramic look at what evangelical Latin American Contextual Christology has been until today. Second, I want to mention the main challenges Latin American Christology faces today, highlighting the tension between the fidelity of the biblical text and the need for relevance to their context. Third, I propose how the Christological Biblical narrative can help us maintain the balance between the plurality and diversity of contextual Christologies and the primacy of the biblical text. My working hypothesis is that the biblical Christological narrative is not necessarily hostile to contextual Christologies since it includes and is hospitable to a plurality of Christologies. On the other hand, all current Christologies (Latin American or Western) need to pay attention to the rich and diverse Christological mosaic of the Bible. This diverse and polyphonic mosaic, which includes several Christological voices, points to the main Christological narrative whose climax is the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
