Assistant/Associate Professor of Biblical Studies (Old Testament)

Description
This is a nine-month, tenure-track position that requires teaching four courses per semester. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but may include some evening classes and independent studies. Attendance may also be required at some evening and weekend events.

Job Description
The primary duties will be to teach core master’s level courses in Systematic Theology, Systematic Theology electives, Th.M. seminars, and supervise theses in the ThM program. The individual will participate actively in the department (CBTS) and the Seminary community at large. The applicant’s involvement will include mentoring students, engaging in research and scholarship, and serving on faculty committees.

Professor of New Testament Studies

Description

Full-time Old Testament (Tenure-track/rank open)

Job Summary

Tenure-track position in Old Testament at Bethel Seminary St. Paul. Academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Teach a full-time load (seven 3-semester hour courses or equivalent per academic year).
Teaching assignments include Old Testament content, hermeneutics, exegesis, and Hebrew language, in both in person and online delivery systems. Other faculty assignments include faculty meetings, mentoring of students, and committee work.

Endowed Professorship in Theology

Description
This newly-endowed professorship in Theology will join the faculty of Bethel Seminary and teach courses to future leaders in systematic theology, ethics, philosophy, and related fields. This professor will represent Bethel Seminary in professional conferences, publications, and presentations.
