Professor of New Testament Studies

Description
The Biblical and Theological Studies Department at Covenant College invites applications for a full-time regular faculty position in New Testament Studies beginning July 1, 2022. Covenant College is an academically rigorous Christian college emphasizing the liberal arts in the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition. Rank and compensation commensurate with experience.

Necessary qualifications include:

  • All applicants must subscribe to the system of doctrine in the Westminster Standards.

Full-time Old Testament (Tenure-track/rank open)

Job Summary

Tenure-track position in Old Testament at Bethel Seminary St. Paul. Academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Teach a full-time load (seven 3-semester hour courses or equivalent per academic year).
Teaching assignments include Old Testament content, hermeneutics, exegesis, and Hebrew language, in both in person and online delivery systems. Other faculty assignments include faculty meetings, mentoring of students, and committee work.

Endowed Professorship in Theology

Description
This newly-endowed professorship in Theology will join the faculty of Bethel Seminary and teach courses to future leaders in systematic theology, ethics, philosophy, and related fields. This professor will represent Bethel Seminary in professional conferences, publications, and presentations.

Registrar/Faculty

Description
The Registrar maintains the academic records of all students as well as planning and implementing the registration process for all courses. This includes establishing and maintaining the schedule of course offerings, keeping records of all courses and curriculum requirements, coordinating times and locations for class meetings, planning orientation for new students, maintaining transcripts, determining students’ eligibility for graduation, and planning commencement activities.

Professor of New Testament Studies (open rank)

Description
Grove City College is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in New Testament Studies in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies beginning in the fall of 2022 or 2023. Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Successful candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area, with seminary training and/or ministry experience desired. The expected teaching load is 4+4.
